Model 9927 is a surface-mounted vertical rod exit device designed for use on all types of single or double doors. It is UL listed for panic exit hardware and meets ANSI A156.3-2014 Grade 1 requirements. The device is compatible with standard hollow metal doors featuring 86 or 161 cutouts and includes a grooved case design. The 9927 is non-handed, except when equipped with the following options: SD (Special Dogging), SS (Signal Switch), or WS (Tornado/Hurricane).
