Banjo RN150-125 Polypropylene Pipe Fitting, Reducing Nipple, Schedule 80, This Banjo RN150-125 reducing nipple is a schedule 80 polypropylene pipe fitting with 1-1/2" and 1-1/4" male NPT threaded connections. The reducing coupling has one end smaller than the other for connecting two pipes with different diameters. It has male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for connecting to female NPT threaded pipes, creating a tighter seal than straight threads. This fitting is precision molded in polypropylene, which resists most chemicals, has excellent dimensional stability, and is sterilizable. In addition, it is reinforced with fiberglass for added durability, strength, and chemical resistance. The fitting is suitable for handling pressures up to 150 pounds per square inch (psi) at 70 degrees F. This schedule 80 (thick wall) fitting is suitable for higher pressure than a schedule 40 fitting.
